2021 Paving Program
Bids for the 2021 Paving Program project will be received by the City of Riverside at the Council Chambers, 5200 Springfield Street, Suite 100, Riverside, Ohio 45431, until Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work: Mill and fill of Valley Pike and Needmore Rd and overlay of Community Dr. Mill and fill of Honeyleaf Way will be an alternate bid. Storm sewer repairs, curb replacement, curb ramp improvements, and full depth asphalt repair also along these roadways.
Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found and downloaded at the following website: choiceoneengineering.com/projects-out-for-bid. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office of Choice One.
The project will be awarded contingent upon OPWC approval which is expected on or around July 1, 2021. Work may not begin until after this date.
All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor’s Executive Order of 1972, and Governor’s Executive Order 84-9 shall be required.
DOMESTIC STEEL USE REQUIREMENTS AS SPECIFIED IN SECTION 153.011 OF THE REVISED CODE APPLY TO THIS PROJECT. COPIES OF SECTION 153.011 OF THE REVISED CODE CAN BE OBTAINED FROM ANY OF THE OFFICES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES.
Bidder must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Montgomery County and the City of Riverside, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239.
