INCOME TAX CHANGE
The City of Riverside will be changing income tax reporting agents in January 2020.
We will change from the Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA) to the Central Collection Agency (CCA) effective Jan 1, 2020. CCA has agent representatives based in the Southwest Ohio and local Dayton area, and is currently collecting income tax for several local communities. Like RITA, CCA offers electronic filing and payment.
Riverside taxpayers (both personal and business) should continue to file all tax returns with RITA through December 2019. Any tax transaction after Jan 1, 2020 should be filed with CCA. You will file your 2019 tax return through CCA. Due dates remain the same.
CCA will be sending letters to all taxpayers soon with additional details. You may also contact the City Finance Department if you have other questions.
