Minimum requirements include one year applicable experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred hiring range is $17.00 – $19.00 per hour. The City of Riverside, Ohio is currently accepting resumes for a part-time Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative duties for the Riverside Fire Department. These duties include answering phones, preparing reports, processing and maintaining budgets, compiling employee payroll information, managing the recruiting process, preparing forms and correspondence, keeping records and providing a variety of other administrative support. Starting pay is $14.00-$17.00 per hour, DOQ. Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of relevant administrative experience. The chosen candidate must exhibit excellent organization, communication, computer, time management and proofreading skills. Experience with hiring and recruitment processes is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is a must. Ability and willingness to work independently in a fast-paced environment is required.

The City of Riverside is accepting applications for Part-time Firefighter. Under general direction, performs specialized work with regard to protecting life and property through fire suppression, fire prevention and emergency medical services and may assist with fire inspection and code enforcement duties related to the position of Fire Inspector. Minimum qualifications include Ohio certificate for EMT-Basic and Firefighter I, Current Ohio Driver’s license, NIMS 100 and 700. Pay Range is $8.27 – $16.00 / hour.
