VICTIM ADVOCATE

The City of Riverside is seeking a qualified professional to serve as an advocate, provide support services to victims of crime and liaison with the police department, court and community organizations. The position requires an associate’s degree in criminal justice, psychology, social work or equivalent work experience; candidates with knowledge of the criminal justice system are preferred. Strong communication skills are required. The full time position is grant funded; Salary DOQ. Applicants must be able to pass an extensive background check. Victim Advocate Job Description

PART-TIME FIREFIGHTER

The City of Riverside is accepting applications for Part-time Firefighter. Under general direction, performs specialized work with regard to protecting life and property through fire suppression, fire prevention and emergency medical services and may assist with fire inspection and code enforcement duties related to the position of Fire Inspector. Minimum qualifications include Ohio certificate for EMT-Basic and Firefighter I, Current Ohio Driver’s license, NIMS 100 and 700. Pay Range is $8.27  – $16.00 / hour.  Applicant must be agreeable to work 24 hours every 6th day.
