On September 2, 2023, a new Comprehensive Land Use Plan, called ONE Riverside, will go into effect. The Comprehensive Plan is representative of over 1,500 unique voices, including residents, community stakeholders, City staff, and an advisory committee. The Advisory Committee, made up of diverse representatives from neighborhood and community organizations as well as business owners, finalized its recommended goals, objectives, and policies in the Fall of 2022. On May 15, 2023, the Planning Commission recommended the Comprehensive Land Use Plan for approval. Final adoption of ONE Riverside is pending City Council approval.
