The renewal of the Police, Ambulance & EMS 4.95 mill levy is on the May 7, 2019 ballot. The current levy expires December 31, 2019. This levy generates $1.16 million dollars, which is 28% of the current police department budget. The funds must be used for Riverside Police Department personnel, equipment, vehicles, and operations. This is a renewal levy and it will not increase your taxes.
