Riverside Area Chamber of Commerce

Riverside is served by both the Riverside Area Chamber of Commerce and the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce. Both organizations offer their members reduced rates on worker’s compensation plans, employee health care, and cellular telephone service. Riverside Historical Society

Interested in the history of the City of Riverside?…Join us! Monthly meetings second Tuesday of every month at 2:00pm at 4930 Airway Road. The office is open on Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Membership is $10 and $5 for seniors. More information: Email Call 252-7242 on Tuesday and Thursday.

Riverside Lions Club

Meetings first and third Thursday of each month at at the Mad River Board of Education Bldg, 801 Old Harshman Road. Dinner is at 6:00pm with the meeting following at 6:30pm. More information: Riverside Lions Club

American Legion Post 776

The General Daniel Chappie James Post is located at 5350 Burkhardt Road, Riverside 45431. Post 776 services Riverside residents who belong to the American Legion. More information: call 252-3216.

Riverside Seniors Inc.

The Senior’s group is open to all Riverside residents 55 and over. Monthly meetings held: 9:30am on the second and fourth Monday at the Overlook Administration Building. Membership dues are $15 per year. Call Mary Kay Walters at 937-253-5443 for more information.

Mad River Indians Youth Football and Cheerleading

Currently this organization has over 200 children per year participating in five tackle football teams and five cheerleading squads. Each football team consists of 25 athletes and the cheerleading squads are made up of 20 members. The season starts in late July and can run into late November finishing with a tournament held at Mad River Community Park. Walnut Grove Country Club

Walnut Grove has become one of the premier country clubs in the Dayton area. In addition to golfing, Walnut Grove offers dining, swimming, catering, and a banquet room for up to 200 people. Riverside Amateur Baseball Association

Saville Hilltoppers Garden Club

The Saville Hilltoppers Garden Club was developed forty years ago by a group of women in the then new Saville Plat. The club still flourishes today and has been deeply involved in civic projects, with great emphasis on Shellabarger Park. Today the members still plant flowers annually which is sponsored by the City.

Mad River Youth Soccer Association

Offered to ages 4 to 13 years old. The Association offers two seasons of play. In the spring (March-May), groups are formed for recreational play. U.S. Air Force Cadet Program

As a part of Wright Patterson Air Force Base’s Civil Air Patrol, the Cadet Program is for young adults 12-18 years old. Youth are taught valuable lessons about leadership, given aerospace instruction and have opportunities of a lifetime. Learn more Cadet Program
